We’re dedicated to fostering a learning and working environment where everyone feels seen, heard and knows they belong through demonstrable, accountable and system-wide commitments to diversity, de-colonization, anti-racism, equity and inclusion.

Celebrating Black History Month
Feb. 1 marks the start of Black History Month. Many of the achievements and contributions of Black Canadians have been erased or excluded from our national narrative, and this is an opportunity to acknowledge, value and celebrate them.
It’s also a chance to recognize the transformative work of Black Canadians today and to give visibility to the people and organizations creating meaningful change.
Proud champions of the 50 – 30 Challenge
The 50-30 Challenge is a crucial initiative aimed at advancing gender parity and representation of equity-deserving groups in Canadian organizations.
Our EDIB Centre is working closely with ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵpartners, community organizations, and the 50-30 project to actively engage and encourage organizations in the Simcoe County region and surrounding areas to commit to the 50-30 Challenge.

Take Back the Night at Georgian
The Centre for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging team at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ joined march, held on Sept. 22, to stand with all survivors of gender identities from all backgrounds in our communities against sexual violence. Take Back the Night is not just for ourselves, but for future generations.

- CCDI’s monthly newsletter provides information about CCDI events and research, and other pertinent news from the Canadian diversity and inclusion realm.
Knowledge Repository
- CCDI has an exclusive e-library with over 1,000 documents containing Canadian-specific and international diversity and inclusion research, reports, toolkits and news. This is an evergreen resource and new content is continually being added.
Monthly webinars
- CCDI offers educational webinars, which are free for all ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵemployees.
